Intern - Electronical Technician

• AMS-OSRAM is seeking an Undergraduate in pursuit of a degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, mechatronics engineering, robotics engineering, or other associated degree. The position’s main focus will be to support equipment designers’ plans for upgrades on high-speed automated machines.

• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance functions including, but not limited to motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery is desirable.
• Must be able to read, interpret and work with blueprints, sketches, control wire diagrams and other written instructions for equipment operation.
• Ability to use various test equipment such as a multimeter.
• Knowledge of wiring practices under the NFPA
• Work with the Engineering team on designing solutions if problems arise.
• Update documents your responsible for
• Team spirit
• Reliable
• Acts as a team member with all employees while complying with all policies and procedures.
• A plus if they have basic electrical tools.
