Create light to improve life

OSRAM is a leading global high-tech company that utilizes the infinite possibilities of light to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. Our innovations will enable people all over the world not only to see better, but also to communicate, travel, work, and live better. Primarily focused on semiconductor-based technologies, our products are used in highly diverse applications ranging from virtual reality to autonomous driving and from smartphones to networked, intelligent lighting solutions in buildings and cities.

The Digital business unit bundles OSRAM's businesses that benefit most from the ongoing digitalization process. These range from electronic components and lighting systems to hardware and software for lighting management. Digital also includes entertainment applications covering stage, studio, and film set lighting.

Your new responsibilities

Fluence Bioengineering, now part of OSRAM, develops, manufactures, and sells advanced LED lighting based systems that provide high levels of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) ideal for commercial cultivation and research applications.  These are designed to function very well in areas ranging from microgreens to cannabis.  From sole-source indoor grow lighting to supplemental greenhouse lighting we custom tailor our light spectrum and form-factors to optimize plant growth and increase yields.  We do this while consuming less energy and reducing operating costs versus legacy technologies. All of our LED-based grow lights are built in the United States and ship globally.  Our manufacturing process includes a combination of state-of-the-art robotics and hand assembly at our headquarters in Austin, Texas.   At Fluence Bioengineering our grow lights are ETL listed and come with 3 year or optional 5 year warranties.  Our LED grow lights are designed around three financial drivers to help our clients achieve their cultivation and business objectives:
